Details for Radiohead’s ‘Friends Of The Earth’ gig were revealed today. Tickets will cost £55 and all proceeds will go to the Friends of the Earth, ‘The Big Ask’ campaign that Thom Yorke is involved in. Only 1,000 tickets are being sold. ( source )

Garry Glitter gets three years in jail. We all know his little issues, and it’s nice to see he’s locked up, though it was certainly amusing for the time being ( source )

There are more whispers going on about the new Beck album. The new material is said to have been recorded in a week with producer Nigel Goodrich (Radiohead) before Beck entered the studio for his Guero sessions. ( source )

The lineup for one of the biggest rock festivals in the world, the Fuji Rock Festival, in Japan, is being unveiled more and more by the day. Current bands playing include The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys, Flaming Lips, Avenged Sevenfold, My Chemical Romance, Stone Sour, Lady Sovereign, Two Gallants, the Kooks, Broken Social Scene, the Hives, the Scissor Sisters, Mogwai, Killing Joke, the North Mississippi Allstars, Roger Manning Little Barrie, and more. It will be held July 28-30 in Naeba, Japan. ( source )
