Andrew Bird Announces New Album, Tour

Andrew Bird announced the follow-up to his 2009 album Noble Beast. His new album, Break It Yourself, will be released internationally on March 5th, and in the United States a day later. Some  songs off Bird’s score for the 2010 film Norman will appear on the album. All songs were recorded in Bird’s homemade studio, which is essentially a barn.

If you purchase tickets for Bird’s North American tour, you will receive a free digital copy of Break It Yourself. On top of that, ticket holders will given two free live EPs: Fake Conversations, which was recorded during his October tour, and a five-track EP from Bird’s Break It Yourself tour. Bird certainly doesn’t want his fans to go home empty-handed.
