Kraftwerk Announce Eight-Night MoMA Stay

Hugely influential German electronic group Kraftwerk announced they will be spending eight nights at NYC’s Museum of Modern Art, where they’ll play one full album per night. They’ll kick it off on April 10th by performing Autobahn, their classic 1974 commercial breakthrough. After their first three albums, Autobahn was the first that wasn’t entirely instrumental. A press release said the event’s intent was “to showcase both Kraftwerk’s historical contributions and contemporary influences on sound and image culture.” “Elaborate staging” involving projections and 3D images will accompany the music.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, February 22nd at noon ET. Each night features:
