Video: The National – “Sea of Love”

Matt Berninger and Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National used a Reddit AMA on Wednesday night to premiere the video for “Sea of Love”, a powerful jaunt off their upcoming album Trouble Will Find Me, out May 20th on 4AD. The video above is directed by Sophia Peer, and she applies a simple yet amiable approach where the band plays energetically in a plain room as some kid grooves along. It’s a playful and fun video, a great way to get excited for Trouble Will Find Me. The video’s approach borrows from Russian rocker Pyotr Mamonov.
