Fé – “Time”

Fé

Fé produce concisely catchy electro-pop with mechanical sound effects and gorgeously layered vocal melodies. They’re aided on their debut single “Time” by producer Luke Smith, who worked programming on Depeche Mode’s 2009 album Sounds of the Universe. The clanging of the metallic synths and trickling arpeggiated effects combine for a suavely infectious sound, complemented well by husky and empowering vocals that sound like a cross between Jim James and Benji Hughes. The duo have yet to play their first ever show, and will do so later this year, but it’s already evident that Fé has a captivating sound that could very well appeal to the masses.
