WiseProof – “Scuse Me”

We posted about WiseProof’s futuristic vein of hip-hop about two months ago with his single “More More More More“, which featured spacey synths, climactic stutters, and a hypnotic core beat. His implementation of EDM was impressive on that track, and even more so on his newest single “Scuse Me”, where WiseProof works over a suavely reverbed repeating guitar lick over a bouncy space-bass and deep percussion. The song’s second half – starting around the two-minute mark – introduces more advanced rhythms and vocal intensity, wrapping up this memorable effort nicely. WiseProof may be a hip-hop veteran by now, but he certainly doesn’t have a shortage of fresh ideas.
