Ramsey has already proven in the past year alone, with tracks “See You Bleed” and “2am“, that she possesses one of the most emotional voices going. New single “The Garden” re-affirms this, as she creeps from hushed melancholy to a rousing, unleashed vocal fireball in the chorus, backed minimally by instrumentation; the exotic backing vocals and various layers do much of the melodic lifting instead. It’s 3-for-3 so far this year for the LA-based artist, who is quickly rising thanks to tracks like “The Garden”.
