Miss Eaves – “Hump Day”

Incorporating both confident swagger and a futuristic assortment of industrial synths, “Hump Day” is an infectiously confident effort from Miss Eaves, aka Brooklyn-based Shanthony Exum. The song’s topic is relatable enough: masturbation. Miss Eaves pursued the track’s conceptual approach, or its video specifically as such: he idea was to film “a bunch of different women with different body types and ethnicities showing their orgasm face… and not in a pornographic way, but in a very realistic way.” That video can be viewed below. On the music end, the blaring synths and nonchalant delivery work well in combination with the overall theme, outputting an entertainingly original approach for sure.
