Digital Order – “On Our Way”

In the lovably nostalgic vein of Blind Melon or Collective Soul, “On Our Way” finds Digital Order alternating between jubilant acoustically-aided verses and thunderous alternative-friendly choruses/hooks. The new single from the Australian rock/electronic act shows what the four-piece does very well: incorporate melodic guitars, drums, and synths for a hybrid of hard/alternative rock and contemporary indie-rock/dance. Founding member Will Cruz has spent time with UK producer Kevin Kerrigan (Dido, Björk, Natalie Imbruglia) learning about songwriting, so there’s plenty of combined experience here that’s evident in the musicianship. It shows on this polished track.
