Based out of Tallinn, Estonia, Dorian Bay is an emerging electronic/dance producer, whose debut single “Dream” dropped this month. An energetic and colorful synth-pop assortment kicks things off, before a solemn vocal performance is accompanied by a growing array of instruments, starting with a barren piano melody and evolving with spritzy synths and an anthemic percussive push around 01:15; here, fading-in synths form a very infectious melody. The piano-led bridge emerges again, before the track concludes with the fun electro-pop fervor, comparable in production value to Erasure.
