Red Cabin – “Willow Tree”

“Willow Tree” is more fun power-pop goodness from Red Cabin, the solo project of Jonathan Foster that has impressed mightily already with “Evading“, “Patterns“, and “Right This Way“. Continuing a similar arsenal to past successes, Foster’s playful vocals work around twinkling keys and contagious power-pop guitar lines, with the chorus – “I know it’s high in the willow tree” – soaring and the verse being bouncily enjoyable. Always a manufacturer of a good bridge as well, the one at 01:46 plays very nicely. It’s a replay-friendly track, for sure, and another success from Foster.
