FAITALA – “Forty One” + “Departures”

Manchester-based trio FAITALA will release their debut EP on November 28th, and it’s preceded by the fun and danceable effort “Forty One”. From the fun chiptune-like synth section at 01:45 to the hopscotch-like bouncy nature of the synths around 01:10, there’s a variety of punchy and infectious moments here. The track is playful and fun, navigating through a stylistic hybrid of rock, Brit-pop, and light synth-pop that works well throughout. I’m looking forward to the upcoming EP from this Manchester-based trio, who churn out a seemingly effortless vein of hook-y rock.
