D.G. Adams – “This Song Is Not True”

A solemn organ complements a passionate vocal delivery to kick things off on “This Song Is Not True”, before a series of guitar twangs expand the arsenal around the one-minute mark. The second half is lyrically angsty, with the aforementioned forceful expansion helping guide the remainder of this concise yet effective effort from D.G. Adams, a Vancouver-based singer/songwriter who recently released his new album The Old Heart in March. Adams, who has also spent the past thirty-three years as a classically-trained actor and Shakespeare teacher, clearly can excel in the musical spectrum as well, as evidenced by this release.
