Album Premiere: Only A Visitor – ‘Lines’

Vancouver art-pop quintet Only A Visitor just released their new full-length, Lines, today. Fronted by composer/arranger Robyn Jacob, the act has performed at festivals such as Artswells, Campbell Bay Music Festival, The Field, and the Vancouver International Jazz Festival. You can listen to each of the album’s tracks on Soundcloud, with a highlight including “Foggy Streets”. This track showcases the act’s lush, idiosyncratic sound well — with a jazz-pop tone aided by multi-layered vocals and chilled-out rhythms. “Running In My Sleep” is another notable one, a driving piece of piano-pop with additional melodic vocal showcasing.
