MSTR MSTR – “All That You Ever Want”

MSTR MSTR are psychedelic act from Brisbane, Australia, who showcase a highly impressive sound on the newly released track “All That You Ever Want”. Spacey guitar frequencies, seemingly in reverse at points, add to the initial buzzing atmosphere. The hazy, drawn-out vocals remind tonally of Beck’s most laid-back efforts, helping set a soothing quality. The one-minute mark brings chirping expansion, with gorgeous vocal layers intertwining alongside static-y and spacey frequencies. Some between the styles of Beck and Tame Impala, “All That You Ever Want” makes a striking impression.

On the more distortion-friendly vein, “Always Talk About Yourself” shows a similarly psych-friendly scope, though with more of a guitar crunch and ceaselessly energetic vein:
