Garbanotas Bosistas – “Long Ago Far Away”

/

Lithuanian rockers Garbanotas Bosistas impressed mightily and drew great in-site feedback with their track “Last Summer’s Day,” a soaring and twangy psych-rocker with very spacious heights and a melodically stimulating hook. The band returns with another new single in “Long Ago Far Away,” an equally impressive track that’s preceding the December 7th release of their new album Room for You on Tilto namai, vinyl, and streaming platforms. The tracks are more jangly and fast-moving compared to “Last Summer’s Day,” with the brisk approach of “Long Ago Far Away” showing the band’s punchier side, particularly in the rhythmic spectrum. The vocals, airy and exuberant, again capture a hypnotic sense of bliss, intermingling wonderfully with the brisk guitar twangs and vibrant rhythm section.
