Allegra Krieger – “Come On, Honey”

/

“Come On, Honey” is a lush and captivating new track from Brooklyn-based folk/alternative act Allegra Krieger. The act is “inspired by a life lived transiently and freely.” Krieger’s serene vocal presence combines with a soft guitar twang and steady string-laden ruminations, building toward a beautiful chorus with a bit of a Celtic folk sound in the more high-pitched string plucking. “Come on, honey, I’ve been on the road so long,” she croons, effectively conveying a sense of comfort upon arriving home or in a beloved’s arms. Gorgeous vocals and a strong melodic accompaniment combine for quite a memorable effort here. Check out more goodness via the act’s Soundcloud.
