I saw Eleni at The Troubadour in London tonight – A rare talent,one I feel certain will make an international impact very soon. An artist on top of her form, and with her feet firmly on the rails.(and very good taste in boots)

I bought ‘Miracle of Five’ and it is a gorgeous album – I listened to it on the weekend (particularly rainy!) as I pushed my sleeping beauty of a 10 month old daughter around the park. Perfect accompaniment!

oh, really? thanks for the info on Barnes. I’m certainly more up to date on their music than their love lives! haha. a theme of divorce? makes sense.

Umm, you mistakenly listed Kevin Barnes of OF MONTREAL as married, he is no longer married to Nina, they are divorced, but currently living together. Icons, Abstract Thee is about their divorce and current relationship status, to some extent… like in No Conclusions, “I never though I’d have to write this song, I always thought things would change somehow, and we would start getting along, but it’s over.”

And this Eleni is amazing! I love your blog, it’s fantastic.
