Wow -- these tracks sound fantastic. Thanks for posting this.

That the Eternals are so hard to label stylistically is just one of their charms. (the other charms include --but are not limited to -- the truly great bass playing and the most excellent dance moves).

I've thought about it, and the closest comparison I can make to them is to bands on Adrian Sherwood's On-U Sound record label, like Dub Syndicate, African Head Charge, and New Age Steppers, in that there's a cool blend of styles, with punk and reggae being just two of those styles in the mix.

Can't wait for the full release.

Thank you very much for reviewing the record and expressing your thoughts on our music. It is much appreciated. We are indeed a difficult band to pin down stylistically. I don't perceive what we are doing to have quite as much hip hop influence as you do. Though I have listened/do listen to it often I never really think what I do as emceeing.

I am compelled to make mention of one more thing: Dan Fliegel has not been our drummer for many, many years. He was our drummer on the first record as well as The Black Museum ep but has not been our drummer since before our second record Rawar Style. John Herndon and our actual drummer of many years Tim Mulvenna played on our second record. And Tim Mulvenna (pictured above) played on current record Heavy International. If possible, it would be awesome if this could be amended in the piece. We would really appreciate it.

Once again thank you very much for the attention and consideration. Damon.
