I have been to see Corb several times, and i never get sick of him. He’s so fantastically different from anyone else. The last album ‘Horse Soldier’ sure has a saddness to it though. I love the historical ballads and the mournful love songs and of course the whimsical fun songs! And my favorite part of it all is how he remains true to his roots. He’s an Alberta boy and we’ll always love him at home!

Seen CL & HA opening for Robert Earl Keen in Little Rock, AR while on a road trip. Blew me away. I like REK but would have preferred less of him and more of CL & HA. Also, hope CL & HA enlarge their touring topography to include California, USA.

I saw Corb Lund at the Garrick last time he was in Winnipeg, and I’ll be going to the next concert too. His sound is so unique, and I’m so sick of mainstream country, because it’s turned into pop music. Corb is the genuine article of what real country should be.

He is a local legend in Western Canada. He was either the drummer or the lead singer for a rock band called the Smalls. His shows are chalked with these old school cowboys and old school punks and other eclectic sub-cultures. Try to find some of the Smalls, well worth the trouble.

Being from Canada I hear a lot about these guys; they get lots of radio airplay in my city and its truly great music. It’s nice to see a bit of a different style of country that doesn’t sound mainstream become popular.
