Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m not sure this song represents “love conquers all”. He killed her and now he’s in prison for it. My take on the part “at least I know she’s lying still” means that he killed her and he know she’s lying in her grave instead of running around somewhere he don’t know about.

Sorry, Not the point I know.

I also love this group and this song is my favorite. I hope they have much success. I use to be a anti-country person also but I’m slowly coming around. Still can’t take the twangy stuff though. Glad to see more people finding this group and loving them.

I just saw them for the first time at the Joe Val Bluegrass Festival this weekend, and they blew me away.

There is a live album out there, too, which is available only at shows. May be sold out, by now — seemed self-produced. Some INCREDIBLE stuff, worth seeing live, where it’s better than the recording.
