it reads “BEST ALBUMS OF 2008”

not “Best Indie Music Albums”

nothing worse than elitists complaining about something that I never even said. unlike yours, my definition of quality music has no relevance to its level of recognition. if it does for you then I fear such bias and pretentiousness likely makes your presence unbearable in a conversation about music.

I don’t know if you are used to lists that are only posted in order to gain “indie cred”, but this isn’t that type of site.

If he wants to put lil wayne in there, he can. Personally, while I listen to mostly indie rock, I respect lil wayne’s music and occasionally listen to it. I’m actually not a big fan of this particular album though, and it would be further down on my list.
