ThiefErickson, your mathematical prowess is quite impressive! if this album had six 3-minute songs as you laughably specify, it wouldn’t even be called an album.

I would be shocked if these artists possess your idiotic ideology as well, wishing for their names and quality material to remain forever elusive without any free exposure whatsoever. by the way, all three of these tracks were on Hype Machine long before I posted this (on RELEASE WEEK), so your definition of theft as stealing something that has already been stolen is as inaccurate as your mathematical “statements”.

you act as if I changed the artist name to ‘Obscure Sound’ and promoted it as my own. that is certainly “stealing” in my opinion, and for you to even put blog-based promotion on the same level as that makes your presence immediately laughable and devoid of any value whatsoever.

it makes it laughably ironic that the two bands you used as examples – Wavves and Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti – are unarguably indebted to blog-based promotion for their widespread success, which they now enjoy with populated shows, glowing reviews, and commendable sales.

I don’t understand why you aren’t wasting your time with blogs that actually provide full albums with no write-up whatsoever. But then I look at your level of intelligence, and it’s not a surprise. if your “initiative” was formed from intelligence, logic, and objectiveness, then my site would be the least of your worries.
