As an Omaha resident and music lover, I have followed NAWAS and been rewarded by growth with each new release. I wanted to make a humble correction to the article to set the archive straight. NAWAS is not a Saddle-Creek band. They are signed to an awesome little label called Slumber Party Records. Slumber Party features some amazing artists like Talking Mountain, Capgun Coup, and Outlaw Con Bandana.

My 28 year old daughter has lived in Brooklyn and is now going to school in Asheville, NC, and SHE’S a fan of Noah’s Ark Was a Spaceship! Far from Nebraska! As for me, well, I like their name!
