Video: Tamaryn – “The Garden”

Tamaryn’s video for the flowing “The Garden”s hows an apt arrangement of gauzy colors as she frolics around a garden. Directed by Miko Revereza, the video comprises a bunch of washed-out portraits. Colors in the neon range – like illuminated tints of red, orange, and yellow – appear to dominate, though like any mesmerizing garden we get some blues and reds as well.

“The Garden” is a highlight off Tamaryn’s new album, Tender New Signs, which was crafted in partnership with Tamaryn’s longtime collaborator Rex John Shelverton. “Rex and I met in New York City where I was living in the early ‘00s,” Tamaryn said. “We bonded instantly and over time started sharing ideas for songs. Eventually we began to collaborate on some recordings, traveling between coasts until the project inspired me to move to California indefinitely.” These collaborations resulted in several singles and the Led Astray, Washed Ashore EP.
