Rotterdam-based Rejection Ratio craft an enveloping rock sound on recent single “Love is Like Heaven,” traversing through jangly guitar fervor and dynamic vocal entrancement in its whirring, climactic unveiling. Comprising the quartet of Nelly (vocals), Ruud (bass), Pityu (guitar), and Ton (drums), the band’s roots trace throughout the ’80s and ’90s; they recorded an album in 1997, and then went on hiatus, with those recordings temporarily tucked away.
