3421 – “Not Coming Back”

/

3421

3421 is a stimulating new electronic project from Haifa, the northern capital of Israel. Their new track “Not Coming Back” – premiering here – blends elements of atmospheric free-jazz electronica (especially in the percussion), post-punk bass, and suave Beck-like vocals to result in an extremely striking sound. Beginning with a simple lush organ, playful bass perks the arsenal up around the 45-second mark, before a pause around the 01:40 mark signals the arrival of some excellent live percussion. Spacey buzzing and atmospherics reminiscent of Tame Impala cap things off nicely as well.

The track is the duo’s first single off their highly anticipated LP, Bipolar, which will be released in mid-2016
