Night Drifting – “Language of Losing”

night-drifting

We previously featured Night Drifting’s understated and beautiful sound with the track “Just Because“, and now the project of Amit Pandey has another new track out. “Language of Losing” traverses across the darkness of a night, with a yearning backing synth and tranquil guitars over yearning vocals, reminding at points of The Smashing Pumpkins’ more ballad-ready work. Regarding the new one, Pandey says “it’s a pop song that, to me, sends me back to 1970s western soundtracks – especially the bridge.”
