LVNA, the London-based duo of Lydia Clowes (vocals) and Teresa Origone (keys and synth), craft a wholly enticing and soulful vein of dreamy pop. Since forming in 2014, they have progressed their sound into a touching and enthralling spectacle, which on new single “Stalker” shines brightly. “She wakes up thinking of you, and falls asleep the same” Clowes sings lushly during the developing verses, giving way to a spacious bridge that leads into the ardent hook. The vocals here exult over a melodic progression of jazzy keys and a lingering buzzing bass. It’s atmospherically rich and well-produced in regard to the vocal performance and supremely chill accompaniments, reminiscent of the electro-pop fixings of Little Dragon with some more soul and jazz injected.
