“Daggers” is a gorgeous new track from NYC-based Scotch Mist, beginning with a briskly fluttering guitar-led airiness and evolving throughout — from sparsely yearning folk to beautiful vintage-pop vocal harmonies, western-y guitar twangs, and a twinkling orchestral-like chamber-pop majestic quality toward the end. It’s a collection of highly captivating sounds that flow cohesively and without predictability.
