Darrin James Band – “Still Believe in Love”

Despite all the evident horrors in the world, love is still very real — and it’s important to believe in it, or “soon we won’t be here at all,” sings Darrin James on his touching new track “Still Believe in Love”. As he sings about humanity navigating a seemingly insurmountable maze involving imminent death and discrimination, rollicking acoustics lead a minimalist yet effective instrumental arsenal. This is barren in that sense, though places emphasis on the words, which in times like now cannot be stressed enough.
