ATMIG – “Trip”

Michigan indie-rockers ATMIG emphasize the beauty of escape on new track “Trip”, whose music video chronicles a young girl who escapes familial conflict by blasting off into outer space. A solid male-female dual delivery works alongside a very bustling acoustical arrangement, with active rhythm in the back. “Let’s make believe we do not care and do not cry,” sing the vocals of Tobias and Julia, with the familiar shuffle of the verse and anthemic appeal of the chorus combining for a very listenable track. It’s a fun power-pop presentation with relatable lyrical sentiments, helping make “Trip” a memorable one.
