Ridgio – “I’m Just A Man”

Ridgio’s new track “I’m Just A Man” touts a beat that reminds of the lush, springtime psychedelia on Avalanches’ Wildflower. The Chicago-based rapper has a fluid delivery that seamlessly navigates various structural highlights, from the percussive addition to the vocal twist at 01:30. It’s a catchy and atmospherically inviting effort, one that serves “a testament on following your dreams regardless of what people say.”

Shot in Chicago’s Lincoln Park, the track’s video shows the brighter side of life while explaining the hardships of getting to that point of being able to conquer the setbacks:
