NAH. – “Farp”

/

The members of Washington, DC-based rock group NAH. all live together in a house, no doubt contributing to audible music chemistry that has drawn them acclaim at live performances. They released their chilled-out track “Farp” with the rest of their Social Meteor EP, recorded at Inner Ear Studios with Don Zientara (Elliot Smith, John Frusciante). The track is in F-sharp, so the band called the track “Farp” on their setlists before it had a name, so “Farp” it became. The instrumentation, with its melodic guitar twangs and airy synths – with a later incorporation of touching strings, weaves cohesively with the lush vocal presence for a memorable result.
