Stereo Soul Future – “Remember Alaska”

//

Stereo Soul Future’s “Remember Alaska” is a beautiful track with fluttering acoustics, serene vocals, and a Brian Wilson-esque knack for vocal pop harmonizing. The lyrics match that beauty, the track being dedicated to the memory of Sarah West, the spouse of Stereo Soul Future singer/guitarist Christopher Field. The group recorded two songs for Sarah while she was ill with bacterial meningitis, both as a tribute to her and to raise awareness for the sudden onset of bacterial meningitis. “Remember Alaska” was written in 2004 after Sarah and Chris visited her home state.

Along with b-side “Gimme Time”, both will be released as a 7” 45 RPM vinyl single. All proceeds will go to Sarah’s family. Pre-order here.
