Grey Watson – “Radical Passenger”

/

Grey Watson is an artist from Birmingham, Alabama, presently making music out of Seoul, South Korea. “Radical Passenger” is a successful new track of his, with a lush introduction being guided by spacey vocals and guitar twangs. Gradual melodic expansion is aided by the robotic-like vocal push, which merges with the natural vocals nicely. A pleasant melodic bridge around 00:48 with the synth warbles and soft harp-like synth line leads well into the “just drivin'” hook. Stylistically idiosyncratic though atmospherically lush and melodically stimulating, making for a generally accessible track, “Radical Passenger” culminates effectively around 01:50, when the electric guitar twangs mesh with the now-soaring vocal presence. “Radical Passenger” is an enjoyable track with originality and a gripping soundscape.
