Robinson’s powerful lyrics and vocal performance have a Lorde-like presence, while Blinded Hearts’ production works engagingly from climactic though lusher verses and a bustling hook, featuring blaring synths and pounding rhythms. “Rather Be” is a catchy effort that comes just in time for warmer weather, fit for sunlit dancing and good times.
