James Labrosse – “Orange Night”

Fans of atmospheric flamenco-jazz will enjoy hearing from James Labrosse, whose new track “Orange Night” combines flamenco guitar with production aspects reminiscent of the ’80s, including a synth-tinged vein of R&B. Blissfully atmospheric, it’s a hypnotic success from Labrosse, who grew up in South Florida and at the age of 18 moved to Spain.

Labrosse’s full album of the same name is a recommended listen in its entirety, especially for those tranquil rainy days where you want something jazz-y and atmospheric, though still with a fondness for mood and pop hooks. Stream it in its entirety below:

“Orange Night” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of June 2018’ Spotify playlist.
