Iuliano – “Comfortable Lies”

Impressing earlier this year with the track “Who Knows“, Italian-born musician Iuliano shows more captivating smoothness on new track “Comfortable Lies”. Halted acoustics with a bit of a jazz-y presence start things, with a minimalist percussive pulsation accompanying his chilled-out vocals, which repeat “gonna catch you sometimes,” in leading to the doo-doo-doo-ing around the 50-second mark. Electric guitar fragments enter the fold by the track’s conclusion, when the vocals have ceased in favor of the atmospheric, lush sounds of guitars and a kick drum.

The track is taken from his forthcoming Hidden Root EP.
