Premiere: Jibberish – “Meantime (Mono Mix)”

/

Jibberish are a trio of longtime friends from Texas, churning out a harmonious sound on debut EP Meantime. Ahead of the EP’s release in two weeks, we’re happy to premiere its self-titled track. As evidenced on “Meantime”, the band is fond of multi-layered vocal harmonies with a certain suaveness, in addition to elements of twangy guitars (the 01:30 expansion) and bouncy keys, evident during the chorus’ backing. There’s a confident, Mac DeMarco-like charm in the “these circles are moving,” hook. “Meantime” is a very pleasurable listen, one that brings us nicely into the weekend.

Jibberish’s EP is coming out on Friday, September 28th, and will be available on all digital platforms.
