Post Death Soundtrack – “Chosen Sons”

The menacing, ominous “Chosen Sons” is fit for Halloween — with a creepy overall feel and vocals that alternate between creep nonchalance and scream-centric horror-film exploits. The latest track from Post Death Soundtrack, previously featured with multiple tracks, “Chosen Sons” is the first offering from Post Death Soundtrack’s third album. The repeating “chosen sons,” lyrics amidst the ominous, clanking instrumentation lends a climatic and dark feel. An interlude at 02:47 – with sullen strings and drip-dripping – provides an added ambiance, quickly interrupted by an unsettling burst of guitar distortion and menacing vocals. If you’re a fan of creepy-sounding rock, or want to get in the Halloween mood, “Chosen Sons” does the trick.

“Chosen Sons” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of October 2018’ Spotify playlist.
