Dante Hadden – “Most Nights”

/

Driving folk-pop track “Most Nights” is the latest release from Dante Hadden, a Vancouver-based singer/songwriter. Hadden’s music is rooted in folk, though features expansive evolution of his vocals, acoustics, layers of strings, and various production flourishes. This track reflects such progression in its structure, beginning with bare acoustics and quickly featuring melodic vocals and a percussion. “But I know your love won’t keep me fed,” Hadden sings before a shimmering melodic effect takes hold to establish an effective bridge. Haunting backing vocals enter shortly thereafter, the track building effectively from minimalist beginnings into something gripping and expansive.

“Most Nights” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of November 2018’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Indie Folk.
