Emanuel Tägil – “I Remember Now”

Released today, “I Remember Now” is a captivating track from Swedish artist Emanuel Tägil, who previously impressed with “Never Let Us Go.” “I Remember Now” features a captivating vocal presence and gripping build-up. The vocals have an unsettling though melodic sharpness, accompanied by striking lyrical imagery and assortment of keys and guitars. There’s an atmosphere throughout, both in terms of music and lyrics, of an unsettling presence in one’s home and life. Per usual, Tägil shows he is a master of atmosphere. Here, he also shows his strongest melodic presence to date.

“I Remember Now” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of January 2019’ Spotify playlist.
