Armors – “Portland”

/

Orange County-based duo Armors impress with emotive pop track “Portland,” a track touting an angsty, yearning vocal tone amidst bouncy keys and buzzing guitar backing. An act like Panic! At The Disco – at their pop-driven peak – comes to mind as an aesthetic comparison. “Portland” is a catchy, spirited track off the duo’s forthcoming album Who’s Gonna Love Me (When I’m Not Young), releasing on March 8th. Olen Kittelsen and Sam Beresford show themselves as very capable songwriters here and likely on the upcoming album, which they crafted with Boston-based Ryan Spraker.

“Portland” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of February 2019’ Spotify playlist.
