The Broadest Blue – “Oh, Love”

“Oh, Love” is an emotive and yearning new track from The Broadest Blue, the project of Kurt Juergens, who impressed in 2017 with the track “Run For My Life.” A ghostly piano presence is constant throughout, as Juergens’ increasingly emotional vocals reflect on a dying relationship. “I will never kiss those lips anymore,” he repeats the conclude the track, as the piano tone reflects the lyrical content in becoming intentionall out of key and increasingly wavering. “Oh, Love” is a moving effort from The Broadest Blue.

“Oh, Love” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of February 2019’ Spotify playlist.
