Rich Lerner and The Groove – “Be Here Now”

/

“Be Here Now” is a solid representation of the old-school rock coming from Rich Lerner and The Groove, a band from Greensboro, NC. The hypnotic “be here now,” vocal reflection meshes with twangy guitars and a suave rhythm section, with a bridge just after the two-minute mark showing some impressive, spacious rhythmic work that leads into a delectable guitar solo. Certainly, this is a sound that will appeal to fans of classic rock, and there’s ample songs qualitatively comparable to “Be Here Now” throughout the band’s new album, Jammin’ with Juma.
