Jyn – “Easy”

/

Berlin-based pop artist Jyn wows with new track “Easy,” a chilled-out slice of contagious pop with a hazy, yearning soundscape. Soft synths and slight guitar twangs accompany the artist’s easy-going vocals, with Kali Uchis being a frequent point of comparison for Jyn’s vocal approach. The fluttering synths in the verses build seamlessly to a chorus that amps the feel up, adding a extra dose of glistening magic to the synth and vocal presences. The track feels like it’s effortless and floating on a cloud, thanks to some stellar production and melodic craftsmanship. Considering that previous release “be with u” impressed as well, I’m very excited for what else Jyn has in store.

“Easy” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of April 2019’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Catchy Indie Pop.
