Lessons From The Dreamtime – “Soul to the Universe”

/

Today marks the release of Anticipatience, the new album from Lessons From The Dreamtime, an “world beat influenced neo-classical industrial project” from Colorado-based Jesse Travis Maddox. It’s an epic listen, capturing a grandiose orchestral presence with climactic anthemic appeal. The stirring presence of strings is evident early on with tracks like “Happiness Is Never Grand,” while efforts like “Soul to the Universe” features a stampeding percussive presence that touts a tribal-like energy alongside wordless vocal power and intensifying vigor. The album is very cinematic in nature, apt for visuals with sweeping views of nature.
