Remnose – “Cures, Diseases”

/

“Cures, Diseases” touts a twangy beauty further enforced by a rousing vocal presence, leading a great track from Detroit-based indie-folk/rock band Remnose. The little smatterings of keys throughout add beautifully, as does the wordless vocal croon during the bridges. The band shows a fondness for lap steel and keys, combining with a fun, bustling bass line and well-executed melodic journey. This gem comes via the band’s forthcoming album, Waiting On The Wind, releasing on June 14th. I’ll be anticipating it, for sure.

“Cures, Diseases” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of April 2019’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Indie Folk.
