Jordana Lilly – “Focus”

“Focus” is a track released today from Jordana Lilly, the Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter with R&B pull that impressed with the track “Push & Pull” in December. A stirring R&B ballad centered around the importance of putting yourself first, “Focus” features the artist’s impressive vocal range — alternating from suave confidence in the verses to emotive croons during the chorus. The “I can’t do this right now,” bridge around 01:39 is particularly effective in guiding to the soulful chorus, as is the piano-led interlude just past the two-minute mark. “Focus” is a quality slice of R&B and pop from this quickly rising artist.

“Focus” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of June 2019’ Spotify playlist.
